The Woodlandsnail (Ashmunella rhyssa) is a terrestrial snail found in the Sierra Blanca and Sacramento Mountains in Otero County, New Mexico. It occurs at elevations between 1,525-3,050 m (5,000-10,000 ft). It is found near mountain canyon streams and talus slopes. At higher elevations, it may be found throughout aspen (Populus spp.) forests.
