The Andrenid Bee (Perdita semicrocea) is a ground-nesting species in the family Andrenidae. Very little is known about this species. It has been collected in Chihuahuan Desert and Madrean Archipelago ecoregions of Arizona, New Mexico, and Sonora, Mexico. This species is active in the fall and has been collected on plants in the Brassicaceae and Asteraceae families. Based on habitat and ecology, the main threat to this species is likely the increased incidence and severity of drought due to climate change.
